Joe Langelin

Joe Logelin is based in Luxembourg and works as an independent illustrator. 

He derives his inspiration essentially from skateboarding, street art and video games, which have a major influence on his work, consisting of drawings ranging from hand drawings to digital graphics, sometimes blending the two. His illustrations can be found not only on paper but also on garments, walls, stickers and skateboards. 

Happy skulls, brightly-coloured flowers, specific forms of writing (graffiti/punk and more), cartoon characters, abstract textures and geometrical skateparks. All this and much more makes up the imaginative world of JLO. 

The Bâtiment4 enables him to advance his colours and techniques even more, to the point of upcycling decorative objects and furniture found in second-hand stores and recycling centres.
